Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d)

Job description:

• Evaluating, selecting and qualifying new suppliers and operating an active supplier management in assigned material groups (incl. audits)

• Price negotiations with suppliers and continuous challenging of price savings

• Negotiation, developing and managing framework agreements and their master data maintenance

• Evaluation and realisation of savings potential and collaboration in development projects

• Processing and coordinating quality reports on strategic procurement level

• Supporting operational purchasing

• Data management in ERP (SAP S4/HANA) related to the mentioned tasks

Requirements:

• Technical background (mechanical engineer preferred) with additional degree in business administration, procurement or equivalent studies.

•  Long term experiences in procurement (operational and strategic) of technical products

• Skills of reading and understanding of specifications, technical drawings and bill of materials

• Generalist and organiser

• Be reliable, great flexible and resilient

• Fluent in English and Polish, good skills in German would be helpful, and additional languages an advantage,

• Very good skills to work with ERPs (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
