Master Data Manager (m/f/d)

 

Main tasks:

  • Developing a long-term strategy for data management within our organisation
  • Developing and implementing processes for data governance such as data quality checks and data audits
  • Creating and enforcing policies for effective data management
  • Formulating management techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
  • Verifying and harmonising existing data sets
  • Devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis with attention to business related aspects
  • Reviewing data sources to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within an organisation
  • Creating guidelines for data structure within an organisation to ensure consistency in how information is stored, organised, and accessed
  • Developing standards for storing and accessing data using tools such as relational databases and data warehouse

 

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field such as engineering and management, data management, business management, or a related field
  • Proven organisation and priority setting skills
  • Understanding of modern Master Data Management Concepts and Data Quality approaches, tools, techniques, vendor landscape, and best practices
  • Previous experience in master data processing and ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Ability to work effectively in an international team-based environment with multiple functional groups
  • Good understanding of databases and data modelling and ability to write simple queries in SQL
  • Beneficial/optional: 1-2 years work experience in data warehousing, business intelligence / analysis
  • English B2
